Recommended screen types for oil solids control equipment
The shaker screens produced by Xi'an Tianrui Petroleum Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. are widely used in fields such as petroleum drilling, trenchless engineering, and mining. They feature high wear resistance, strong corrosion resistance, and long service life. Additionally, they have passed API and ISO9001 certifications, and are compatible with both self-owned equipment and international brand shaker screens such as Derrick, Swaco, and Brandt. Below are several mainstream screen models recommended based on their product line and working condition adaptability:

1. TRZS703 High-Frequency Stainless Steel Sieve
- Material: 304/316L stainless steel woven mesh
- Features: High-frequency vibration design, suitable for fine screening. With a sieve area of 2.7m², it offers high processing capacity and smooth debris discharge.
- Application Scenarios: Water-based mud treatment, shallow well drilling, and land or offshore operations with high environmental requirements.
- Advantages: Corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, compliant with GMP standards, ideal for applications requiring high mud cleanliness.
2. Mongoose Series Replacement Sieves (Compatible with Swaco)
- Type: Wavy sieves / Flat sieves
- Specification Range: API 20–API 400, customizable mesh count
- Features: Mechanically produced with good uniformity and long service life, meeting American API standards.
- Application Scenarios: Mud treatment in oilfield drilling, particularly suitable for replacing Swaco Mongoose shaker screens.
- Advantages: Strong interchangeability with original equipment sieves, lower cost, and short delivery cycle.
3. Derrick FLC Series Compatible Sieves (FLC2000PMD/PWP, FLC503/504PMD/PWP)
- Type: Hard-groove edge / Soft-groove edge sieves
- Material Options: Stainless steel + polyurethane sealed edges / Full polyurethane structure
- Features: Precisely matches Derrick equipment installation dimensions. Polyurethane sealing pads are added to the edges for excellent leak-proof performance.
- Application Scenarios: Shale gas horizontal wells, deep well continuous operations, especially suitable for high processing capacity requirements.
- Advantages: Reduces drilling fluid loss, improves solid control efficiency, and reduces the load on subsequent sand removers.
4. Double-Layer Composite Sieve (Coarse Sieve on Top + Fine Sieve on Bottom)
- Typical Configuration: 20–40 mesh on top + 80–120 mesh on bottom
- Material Combination: High manganese steel or 304 stainless steel for the top layer, polyurethane fine mesh for the bottom layer
- Features: Achieves two-stage separation of 'coarse sieving + precision filtering', with a processing capacity of 80–240 m³/h
- Applicable Scenarios: Large shaker screens, continuous drilling operations, complex cuttings environments
- Advantages: Extends sieve life, reduces replacement frequency, and improves overall screening efficiency
5. Polyurethane Wedge Wire Sieve
- Structural Type: Slot sieve
- Open Area: 30%–45% (significantly higher than 15%–25% for woven meshes)
- Features: Non-clogging, high permeability, lightweight, and wear resistance 3–5 times that of metal sieves
- Applicable Scenarios: Oil-based mud, high-viscosity or highly abrasive conditions
- Advantages: Significantly reduces clogging risk, increases drilling fluid recovery rate, and is suitable for long-term continuous operation
